busy weekend

oh how i had myself one busy weekend. to start it off i had to work at the yearly danish festival held in greenville making sandwhiches consisting of lamb and chicken (other things on it of course) from 9am-9pm friday and 8am-7pm on saturday. the days were surely long but i had no problem with working them although i have to say for the first few hours on friday it was quite hectic for me, then things got better as the day went on. i also picked up a beautiful ring and pair of earrings while i was there, not much time to look for much else. ontop of the long lines and long days, the weather was not cooperative whatsoever. it rained mostly all day on friday and on and off on saturday making my idea to wear pants a smart one. all in all the hard work paid off, we had some unsatisfied customers only because that was their only perception of the day, but mainly happy go-getters enjoying the bargains and broiled, greasy foods. today (sunday) was also another long day, after getting the much needed sleep i did i woke up to find a house full of chores to do. anna let me know today that she will arrive at the grand rapids airport this saturday (august 30th) which means not only do we have but five days to finish the house, but also only five more days until i meet someone i've been waiting to meet all summer! we will have to see how the rest of the week goes, and one sad time coming to end for me and ryan. he leaves for college starting his second year at MSU.. i will be sad that our hang out days are coming to an end along with summer.. but the show must go on!
