anna is here!

anna arrived this morning around 12:40 at the grand rapids airport (august 30th, 2009). after we had all got accquainted we went out to lunch at logans and then headed home. i was so excited to finally meet her, i couldnt stop smiling all day and just thinking about all of the fun things we are going to do makes me smile even more. we didnt do much when we got back, we unpacked her things and looked through old year books.. and made some funny videos with the voice changer on my laptop. then my friend megan stopped by, met anna and hung around for about ten minutes and then we went down the road to my grandparent's house so they could meet anna. tomorrow i think i will take her for a drive around the town and then we will probably go to the school later at night so she can meet the other foreign exchange students.. then on tuesday we are going shopping!!! it almost seems that it hasnt happened yet and it will be a little different waking up in the morning with another person here but i am more than ready to start our adventurous year together!
