earth day

earth day is such a b-e-a-utiful and amazing day to celebrate not only the mystery and beauty of nature, but of our lives as well. everything and everyone comes into our life for a reason, whether it be good or bad. although i only conserved a little more than usual and wrote, "happy earth day" on all of my classroom white boards, i ultimately wish i could've planted a tree. other than celebrating earth day, i forgot to mention that my one year vegetarian anniversay was on april 1st and that starting tomorrow i plan on becoming a vegan. i've tried it in the past but now i am truely serious about doing so. an extremely inspirational book called The Kind Diet has become my best friend, giving me great insight to the world of veganism. written by the very beautiful and successful actress alicia silverstone, she has also created a website called thekindlife.com. i highly recommend anyone and everyone to at least give this book a try and read it. have a wonderful life; and happy earth day!

a great duo for their 'my ruins' shoot. and i must say, one of the hottest things i find on a guy are arm sleeves; not both arms, just one. it's the right amount of hard and bad that i want.

spring break

a much needed break from school is what anna and i got , march 31st-april 9th in florida. my family, anna and myself spent three nights and four days in orlando florida where we not only went to see the blue men group preform, but also to visit universal studios in disney world which was a blast! mostly a lot of 3-D movie captures going on; all with their own special effects added (ie water spraying, etc.) and not to mention many trips to many amazing resturants.

after we had finished our rendezvous in orlando, we headed over to clearwater where my grandparents live and stayed there for about six days making our way through a wonderful day at the beach, many shopping and starbucks trips, a small and creative play, hours upon hours in the pool and the enjoyment of being with eachother. all in all, it was a great trip and even better that anna had the opportunity to be with us!

knocking me out with those american thighs

i believe that american models are once again dominating the runways! from the famous karlie kloss and chanel iman to the highly demanded taylor kraemer, lindsey wixson, hannah holman (above) and jacquelyn jablonski who-her first fall season- walked a total of 74 shows! not only am i extremely excited to see how hannah, the 5'8 utah native, does during the next fashion week, i am also ecstatic that so many american models are being highly demanded in new york, london, paris and milan. here i come, i'm on my way...

not only did lanvin's spring rtw show give the recession-minded a flashback to better times through another one of alber's great designs of vintage inspired body suits-cut with crisp pleats in bright polyester-but it also set the stage for the new whimsical topper bun; something i will find myself trying as the weather warms up. the messy coif also propelled the designs into the 21st century, adding modernity to the serious style. you have done it yet again alber.
