this is the make-up i bought today (bronzer, blush, polish). it just looks so perfect untouched, i'd rather not mess it up. but i'm sure i'll wear it when I go back to school, no use in using it when you're not going anywhere.

anna. not only have you become my best friend but i feel like if there is ever anything on my mind i would be able to tell you what it is. you're always there for me as i am for you and you will always hold a special place in my life. i am so extremely happy that i took the opportunity and welcomed you into my life, we've already created so many amazing memories together and now that it is 2010 i am even more excited to continue them. i cant wait for our spring break trip or the never ending 'maria' answering voice when i invisibly call your house as i go through the rest of your family names and voices. i truely have come to love you and if i hadnt of met you i dont know where i would be or what i would be doing. thank you for being a huge part of my life, i will never, ever forget you!

right now there is exactly 16 minutes left until the new year and i am gulping down the bubbly! whooopeeeee! and so here is to my new years resolution:

- get my braces off

- regularly work out

- become a model

- go to a concert

- see the new movie the lovely bones

- spend as much possible time as i can with anna, my foreign exchange student but also my best friend

- possibly buy a padded, lacey bra (anna insists)

- find kanye west and kill him

- meet new people and make new friends

- and many other things..

uhh today i got what was a much needed highlight to my hair color, yum it smells awesome! plus i spent close to three hours shopping and suprisingly i didnt feel rushed and i got everything i needed plus some other things that i wasnt planning on getting. whoever hasnt checked out the new spring bronzer and blush from chanel should definitely get on that, it is absolutely stunning! and yes i got them both, plus some beautiful coral colored nail polish. i also picked up some very comfortable black heels from charlotte russe, and some black and dark blue shirts from forever 21.. not to mention an adorable, dark grey sheer skirt.

chubby hubby

today i have done a lot of nothing but cleaning.. unfortunately. i cleaned almost my entire room, cleaning out the clothes drawers and closet which is now fully organized and i cleaned out my car which was highly needed. as well as millions of gum wrappers that i had found in my car i also discovered some sardine cans in my trunk that i had failed to use the last time i went tee peeing. and right now, after all of my hard work i feel the need for a chubby hubby.

i am really excited for the trench trend as well as sheer fabric for spring 2010! i adore the pringle of scotland trench (above) but for a less pricey version i found this lovely one from american eagle (below) that is somewhat similar for only $79.98; the price will surely go down for those who are willing to wait and spend less.

teeth

look at these babies! there are getting straight.. i've had these damn braces on for about a year and two months (dec. 20th). i am hopefully getting them off in either april or may, that is when i hit my year and a half mark which is when they are scheduled to come off.

no offense to those who love lanvin's campaign photo but this picture creeps me out. it looks like this man is making out with a bloody vampire. dont get me wrong i love lanvin and everything but couldn't they have picked a bit of a better picture?

this is true beauty, and honestly if they hadnt of shown their body you'd think they were the same girl. that is what is wrong with today's society everyone bases everything on body size and weight and it really must come to an end. i am proud to say that i do not base other's self worth and humility on weight or size because, to me, it doesnt matter at all. but no matter what size anyone is, everyone is beautiful and it is the inside that counts- i know it sounds corny but it's true.

it is really not twenty after one like my clock picture says. normally, i am bored at this hour of night. i hardly get rest and i feel when i do that i am missing a part of my life that easily passes along; therefore i stay up forever and watch boring tv shows. or in this case, get out my three favorite starbucks coffee mugs and take pictures of them. i love christmas!

sasha pivovarova is probably one of the most frequent faces i see in today's campaigns, editorials and photo shoots. she is very versitile, which i love. it's almost as if she has split personalities for shoots; she can change into any character she wants. she is such a beautiful and priceless face.

this movie was absolutely amazing. probably the best movie i have ever seen, literally. i must say, those behind the creative works in this movie must have exquisite imaginations.. i am jelous. one of the things i didnt really like were the 3-D glasses which made the movie a little darker, plus you really had to focus your eyes the entire time to keep seeing a good clear picture on the screen. other than that though, if anyone were debating on seeing this movie or not, i believe you should.. it's a definite must see. even if you dont like sci-fi go for it, i guarentee you'll love it. reportedly this movie costed about $300 million to make, and so far over it's friday debute and opening weekend through monday showings they've made $77,025,481.

yes, it is indeed the 17th.. another day of celebration. my father turns 46 (or 47) one of the two; what an old man. of course i am a sour child, for i have bought him nothing because i have had no time.. but i'm sure he will merely say..
"dani, all i want for my birthday is my family around me, and i've got you. thats all i want."

i have been abscent do to the lack of communication between our internet company and.. our internet connection. oh and plus the fact that we had a giant snow storm that probably took away some over our service as well, but hey at least we got two full days off from school.

and in my spare time this evening i managed to watch my favorite station that i just happened to discover (fashion tv) and make tons of plates of cookies and such for teachers that i like.

oh (!) and i found this beautiful picture of kate moss and carla bruni photographed by the famous and talented patrick demarchelier. beautiful.

i cant stress enough how much i love alexander wang's new collection.. oh what i would do for those beautiful black pieces and ensembles! but one thing, i'm not too hot about the leather waist corset pieces or the ankle length skirt, but thats just my opinion.
